I loved this outta the box sketch, Roxie! And thanks for the delightful examples.
Now that we are on the counting down side of December, I thought a New Years card would be just the ticket for today. The wonderful clock is from a local artist that took vintage images from books circa the 1900's and pressed them into rubber. I am blessed to have some of his work though sadly he passed away a few years ago. The clock has Crystal Effects on the face and the Happy New Years was stamped with Adirondack 'Pool'. Cosmo Cricket's Joy Ride paper with the numbers mates with a burgandy cs dry embossed with Tim Holtz's Bingo ef. Between those papers is a strip with English cities printing ticker tape style. I see Waterloo, Blackpool, London. A piece of German scrap in silver adds texture. The PEACE ticket is from Invoke Arts.
I wish a very Happy New Year to all my SCS gal pals. And peace in your heart.

Love that clock face, and it's funny seeing all the English place names on the trim. The clock reminds me of the old grandfather clock that used to be outside my bedroom door, which my sister has now.
